We have been so propelled to construct this interactive site for you, not only to get in constant touch with all of you, but also to provide a little panacea just in case you would feel homesick to say, “There’s no place like my second home, Capitol University.”
In this website, you will be updated with: how the university has sustained its vision/mission of developing the “total person” specially after the time you left; its achievements in academic and co-curricular programs; highlights on the students, faculty, and new facilities in the campus; and even what the university hopes to further achieve. It would bring Capitol University just a click away on your computers.
Through this website, we intend to provide an avenue for you, too: to tell us your whereabouts; to inform us how you’re doing with your jobs; and to share your reactions, comments, and insights. You may send us your pictures which will be most welcome by the people here who miss you so much. We eagerly await word from you, and we would just be too glad to respond.
Your self-sacrifice of working abroad or even just in the country but far from CU, has earned you the honor of being the silent “modern-day heroes of the nation.” Through your remittances to your families back home, you have given the economy a fresh shot-in-the-arm. Indeed, you make us proud! We fervently hope though, that wherever you are, you have found fulfillment; that you are in good health; that you have enhanced the love and passion to serve others; that you have sustained gratitude which is the memory of the heart; and that you have always been in constant commune with our Lord God who has the ultimate control over everything.
